This class was great! I learned exactly what I had hoped to, and I feel much more confident in trip planning now. The balance of classroom and on-the-water learning was just right. Ryan is an excellent teacher and I'm excited for the next opportunity to learn from him. Generally speaking, Body Boat Blade is the best!

What a great class, one day in the classroom learning how tides, currents and weather work together and learning tools for staying safe in the local water. Ryan broke complicated concepts down in understandable ways and gave plenty of hands-on practice to help the theory sink in. Day #2 was on the water putting theory into practice on a well-guided, fun, and educational excursion. Ryan is personable, knowledgable and creates a positive learning environment.

Our trip/class with Alex was more than magnificent. To say we had "a perfect time" would not do justice to our experience. His coaching on the water as we learned to paddle in conditions was masterful. Reviewing activities each evening made us feel like he understood our goals and anxieties. This was my first experience paddling challenging coastal waters and I look forward to many more.
